Our Team

Dr. Delma Zardo is a lifelong resident of the Central Valley and has been practicing in the area since 2004. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in the Biological Sciences from California State University, Stanislaus and a second Bachelor of Science degree in Vision Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Ashkea, our optometric technician, has over 5 years of experience. She performs preliminary testing that allows Dr. Zardo to perform a thorough eye exam using the latest technology. She also assists with contact lens fittings and pediatric exams. 

Denise has 35 years of experience as an extremely skilled optician. She will guide and educate you in all of the available frame and lens options to ensure you have a set of eyewear that perfectly suits your lifestyle.

Itzel, our receptionist, will be the first person you'll encounter at our office. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and will help you with your scheduling needs. With over 5 years in the optometric field, Itzel is very knowledgeable with vision insurance plans and can assist you with any questions you may have. 

Kristina has been in the optometric profession for over 15 years. She is our referral specialist, helping to ensure you are seen in a timely manner. She is also a skilled optician who will work with you to ensure you find the perfect set of eyewear.

Margarita, our office manager, has almost 30 years of experience in the optometric field. She works closely with Dr. Zardo to ensure the practice runs smoothly and efficiently. She oversees daily operations, supports our team, and helps implement systems that allow Dr. Zardo to focus on delivering the highest quality eye care.
